Our Evansville location recently partnered with QuakeLED as part of their Freak Show Builds exhibition at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The build dubbed “Identity Crisis Humvee” is a military grade HMMWV slammed and lowered and had a Hoppos Hydraulic system installed. The Humvee will almost lay on the ground and will also lift to almost 2 inches above stock height.
Identity Crisis stole the show at the SEMA Ignited afterparty in Las Vegas. Some TikTok videos of this iconic American military machine hopping up and down garnered almost 1M views with a day or two of being posted! You can find more information about the humvee at freakshowbuilds.com, or see it in action in the TikTok video below.
Our lead fabricator, Scott McEllhiney, spent countless hours of his own time as well as some on the clock time to make this beast come to life. Matt Cartwright served as the build manager and sponsorship coordinator. Jeremy Anderson took care of lighting and wiring.
Sponsors of the build included:
Meyer Truck Equipment
Hoppos, Inc
PSC Steering and Suspension
Detroit Steel Wheel, Co
Hercules Tires
Kleinn Air Horns
DS18 Sound and Audio
5280 Vinyl
Quadratec
Hushmat
