Fuel Lube Truck Body Features
- Fully immersed in Knapheide’s 12-step, electrodeposition prime paint system for superior corrosion resistance
- Modular platform design allows for flexibility in product tank and equipment layout
- Solid reel cabinet on the rear of the body with aluminum roll-up doors for convenient access to dispensing reels and control panel; split reel cabinet available upon request
- The front fuel tank has a holding capacity of 1,000 gallons on KFLT1 and 2,000 gallons on KFLT2; the platform can be configured as needed with additional product tanks
- 3/16″ steel product tanks with vented fill caps, replaceable sight gauges, and reinforced enclosures to eliminate tank stress caused by twisting and vibration
- Recessed long-lasting and low-maintenance tail lights featuring bright LED illumination and stop/turn/backup signaling; compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 108 regulations.
- Four adjustable work lights are located on the top of the reel cabinet and LED compartment lights for improved visibility in low light conditions
- Underbody storage compartments are located on each side of the body for additional storage of tools, supplies, and equipment
- All compartment doors utilize pry-proof continuous hinges, weather-protecting neoprene door seals, adjustable security ring strikers for tighter closing, and spring or strut retainers to prevent involuntary door swing; steel models are constructed of double-shell 20-gauge, two-sided A-40 galvanized steel while aluminum models are made from 6061 T6 and 5052 military grade aluminum
- 6-year warranty-backed automotive quality, paddle-activated rotary interior latches that include covers to prevent potential damage caused by shifting cargo inside the compartments; locking can be facilitated via the included key entry feature and/or a power lock option available upon request
