Certified Welding
Meyer Truck Equipment is recognized by the American Welding Society (AWS) as certified welders. Our employees passed a practical exam requiring accurate set up and forming of welds in accordance with industry standards. Test takers must demonstrate their ability to follow a series of written instructions learned from AWS’s Welding Procedure Specification to produce the weld specimen required. This certification must be renewed every six months, to ensure our certified welders are equipped with the latest industry techniques.
The mission of the American Welding Society is to “advance the science, technology and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes.” The non-profit AWS was founded in 1919 and continues to lead the way in supporting welding education and technology development for the benefit of all Americans. Today, AWS serves more than 66,000 engineers, scientists, welders and inspectors worldwide.
We are very pleased to now offer welding services to our customers, and know that this certification differentiates our skills. Contact us today to discuss your welding needs with a certified expert.
